1944 Feb. Production start of Friction Materials (Tokyo plant).
1964 Jul. Production start of Drum Brakes (Miai plant)
Nov. Technical tie-up with Small and Parks Ltd.of U.K. (now TMD Friction) for Friction Materials.
1968 May Production transfer of Drum Brakes from Miai plant to Nagoya plant.
Oct. Technical tie-up with Girling Ltd. of U.K. (now TRW Automotive) for Drum Brakes of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
1978 Oct. Technical tie-up with Girling Ltd. (now TRW Automotive/Arvin Meritor) for Disc Brakes of commercial vehicles.
1981 Dec. Establishment of Tatebayashi plant (Disc pads production).
1982 Jun. Technical tie-up with Alfred Teves GmbH of Germany (now Continental Teves) for Disc Brakes of passenger cars.
1984 Jun. Production start of Disc Brakes for commercial vehicles (Nagoya plant).
