Concerning Information Security Basic Policy


Nisshinbo Brake Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) maintains a high level of confidentiality of information which it handles in business and reflects the importance of stably keeping it on the business activities as a company to provide brake products friendly to the global environment in the mobility area of Nisshinbo Group which aims to be an “Environment and Energy Company”. 

 Every employee should acknowledge that development, manufacturing, processing, sale, purchase, export and import of the Company’s friction materials for automobile brakes and the parts are made feasible by responding to the trust of the customers and the society. 

 We have set forth the Information Security Basic Policy as follows so as to fulfil these responsibilities imposed on us and ensure that all employees act based on the established Policy.



Information Security Basic Policy

  1. 1.

    The Company shall make efforts to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of important information assets to continuously develop business and meet the trust of customers.

  2. 2.

    The Company shall educate every officer and employee who handles the information assets about the importance of information security and specific compliance matters.

  3. 3.

    The Company shall assess risks about information security and carry out measures to minimize threats to the information assets.

  4. 4.

    The Company shall establish appropriate personnel, organizational, physical and technical scheme to protect all information assets including information entrusted from the customers and know-how, intellectual property and personal information, etc. which it owns.

  5. 5.

    The Company’s employees shall comply with Nisshinbo Group’s Information Security Basic Regulations and related laws, guidelines, regulations and other rules and contractual security obligations.

  6. 6.

    The Company shall continuously review and improve actions on information security.
